Paced to your exam

Tell it when the exam is

Studying is spread across the days you have left, and nothing is ever scheduled past the date. An ordinary scheduler will happily push a card a fortnight out when your exam is in nine days, and you never see it again in time.

You get an honest number for how much of the course would hold up today, what is still shaky, and what you have never opened. In the last week, untouched material jumps the queue.

Timed practice

Sit a paper against the clock

Build a practice paper across any part of your course — the whole term, or just the weeks you are being examined on. Then take it properly: one question at a time, answers hidden, clock running.

Afterwards it shows where the time actually went, measured against what each question was worth. Eleven minutes on a four-point question is a habit worth knowing about before the exam rather than after it.

What else you get

Feedback on an essay you have written

Hand over a draft and the rubric it will be graded against, and get it assessed criterion by criterion. It says what is weak and what is missing — and never writes a word of it for you.

What keeps catching you out

The things you get wrong repeatedly are tracked and brought back, rather than quietly disappearing into the pile.

Everything in one place

Organized by course, so a semester's material is one thing you can study across rather than twelve separate files.

Only what you uploaded

It works from your material and doesn't add outside facts, so you're studying your course rather than someone's idea of it.

Pricing

None of this is charged yet. While we are building it, everything below is free and nothing is held back — there is no card to enter and nothing to cancel. These are the plans for when it launches, and you will get plenty of warning first.

Questions

What can I upload?
PDFs, Word documents, plain text, and photos — including handwriting and pages out of a textbook. Up to 4MB a file. You can also paste text straight in.
Does it make things up?
It works from the document you give it and is told not to add outside facts. What comes back is then checked for the mistakes these models actually make, such as a multiple choice question whose answer is not among its options. It can still get something wrong, which is why every answer comes with an explanation and says which part of your material it came from.
Is my material private?
It is private to your account and is not sold or shared. Each document is sent to Anthropic to be read; their business terms say that data is not used to train their models. You can delete a study set, or your whole account and everything in it, whenever you like.
How long does one lecture take?
About a minute. A long chapter is split into sections and done a few at a time, so it takes a little longer.
Can I use my own flashcard app?
Yes. Any set exports to Anki as a tab-separated file you can import straight into a deck.
Do I have to organize everything first?
No. Upload as you go. Putting material into a course is what lets you set an exam date and build a practice paper across the whole term, and you can do that whenever you want.
